Easy Korean Beef

Makes 4 Servings
Nutrition Facts - 235 calories, 25g protein,13g fat, 6g carbs
Ingredients:
- 1 lb 90/10 ground beef
- 1 Tbsp organic pure sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp organic raw coconut sugar
- ¼ cup reduced sodium tamari sauce
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- *½ cup sliced green onion for topping*
Directions:
- Heat a large skillet and brown beef over medium high heat. Add the garlic towards the end of browning and cook for a couple of minutes. Drain the fat.
- Add the coconut sugar, tamari sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt and pepper and red pepper flakes. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.
- Serve over steamed white rice (not included in nutrition facts) and top with green onions. If going for a low carb option, it's great as a lettuce wrap also!
