Easy Korean Beef

Nutrition Facts - 235 calories, 25g protein,13g fat, 6g carbs

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb 90/10 ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp organic pure sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp organic raw coconut sugar
  • ¼ cup reduced sodium tamari sauce
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • *½ cup sliced green onion for topping*

Directions:

  1. Heat a large skillet and brown beef over medium high heat. Add the garlic towards the end of browning and cook for a couple of minutes. Drain the fat.
  2. Add the coconut sugar, tamari sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt and pepper and red pepper flakes. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. 
  3. Serve over steamed white rice (not included in nutrition facts) and top with green onions. If going for a low carb option, it's great as a lettuce wrap also!
